Chios Island lies on the eastern extremity of Agean sea, close to the Greek – Turkish borders. Kardamila is the major town with its own port. The project is on a steep site with distant panoramic views of Kardamila port, East Agean pelagos and a backdrop of hills. The design follows a symbolic relationship between architecture and landscape, with the use of local materials and the connection between living space and nature.
